American Gold Finch

I don’t have much to say about gold finches in general or these photo in particular, so I won’t say much.

This particular goldfinch politely posed for me on this one flower for quite sometime. I’m not sure if that’s his nature or he was just enjoying eating so much I didn’t matter.

These next two photos and the last one are examples of why I always think of the male goldfinches as having bad toupees.

Thank you for stopping by.

David

All photos were taken with a Nikon D7100 and a Nikkor 80-400mm telephoto zoom lens.
