Once again, I do not have not much to say.
Purple coneflower
Not sure what this is. At first I thought rudbeckia and then sunflower, but there’s too much red for the sunflowers I had and the seed head doesn’t look like a rudbeckia. Maybe it’s a blanket flower, I don’t know.
Orange sulphur cosmos
Rudbeckia
Rudbeckia with those weird seed head sprouts
Monarch caterpillar on what I think is common milkweed
Bumblebee on blue cardinal flower
Thank you for stopping by.

With my garden dead from frost, its nice to see these. I’m guessing Gloriosa daisy on your mystery flower.

I think you’re right Eliza. The seed head looked a little off to me, but I did have them in my garden last year so it sure makes sense to me now.

Thank you Pete. I don’t get many bumble bees, usually just carpenter bees, so it was nice to see one.

That is a weird rudbeckia. Interesting to see it.

I had several rudbeckias like that in my main garden and in a little garden encircling a bird bath.
