Cosmoses

As I’ve noted before, it appears that one can use either cosmoses or cosmos for the plural of cosmos.  I prefer cosmoses becasue I like the sound of it.  Of course I only hear it in my head since I don’t talk the words as I type.  Last year some of my cosmoses grew to over 6 feet tall.  I am a firm believer in Miracle-Gro.

 

 

My two most favorite buds are the cosmos and the zinnia.  My other two favorite buds have bud in their name – redbud tree and Budweiser.

 

As usual I did not notice the little crab spider when taking the picture; I was more interested in the strange shapes of the petals.  I only saw him after the file was loaded on my computer.
