This is my final set of photos from my trip to Blackburn Park just four days shy of exactly year ago. I’ve been showing the photos as taken so these are what were left on the roll.
The south entry way to one of the pavillions is flanked by dozens of rose bushes. Even with all those bushes I always only work with three or four of them becasue of the lighting.
This is the same rose as above. I used flash for this photo and available light for the first one.
Just another shot of a rose.
The skippers are always as thick as flies at Blackburn Park. At first I only see one or two and gradually it appears as if dozens of them show up out of nowhere.
Also I can always count on carpenter bees being at Blackburn.
