Nothing But Bumble Bees

A few days after my mid-July walk I went to Blackburn Park looking for insects to photograph.  Here it is almost three weeks into July and, other than bees, I’ve found very few insects.  As mentioned in a prior post I think this was do to the record rainfall we received during June.  It didn’t rain every day but I think in rained more days than it didn’t.

So I got to the park and started looking around the base of some shrubs picking up leaves and sticks and rocks, but no luck.  All I came away with were photos of bumble bees, again, so that’s all I have to show in this post.

Thank you for stopping by.

All photos taken with a Nikon D7100 and a Sigma 105mm macro lens.

    • Thank you Donna and a belated happy Thanksgiving to you too. I’ve been enjoying your travel posts and photos and while the D750 produces exceptionally nice image quality, you appear to be handling the P510 quite well also.
