At the risk of appearing to be melodramatic I am interrupting my Photo Walk series that I just started last week and inserting the post below.

He was found by some kids on their way home from school. Kids always seem to find stuff but it’s not like they’re out there looking for anything. It must be a Zen thing; stop searching and you will find it.

Anyway, the medical examiner estimated he had been dead 24 to 48 hours. Cause of death was listed as unknown natural cause(s). As there was no evidence of foul play and no known relatives to contact, an autopsy was not performed to determine the exact cause of death.

I have a friend in the ME’s office and he, knowing I might be concerned (see A Story About a Friend), provided me with some of the ME’s photos from the scene were the body was found. During the medical examiner’s investigation the body had to be moved about to check for various causes of death and I was able to obtain several different shots that were taken.

For the those of you who have read my post A Story About a Friend and are wondering (as I was when I first heard the news), no this is not my Cuban-American friend. He still has not been heard from.

We all know the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words”. I think we’ll go with that for these pictures and pretend it’s Wordless Wednesday.

Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog.

    • Thank you Donna. Yes they do come and go and thankfully they are gone more than they are here. I have had varying degrees of allergy problems all my life and one of the good things about cicadas is that I can tell people if they want to know what tinnitus is like all the need to do is go outside and listen when there is a full fledge cicada infestation going on.
